Sunday Brunches

Sunday Brunches for Single Moms are hosted monthly by FBCG Womens Ministries. After a wonderful turnout for our first Single Moms Brunch in November, 2007, it was decided that Sundays were the best time to meet.

Single moms who attended the first brunch completed a short survey so that we could begin to address the greatest needs single moms face during these brunches. Moms shared that Sundays were the one day where they made extra time for church and family. Since this was a day that was slightly "lighter" than any other, it was decided that monthly Sunday Brunches would be an ideal time for getting together.

Our Sunday Brunches offer a special time for Single Moms (and their Single Mom friends!) to take an hour away from their busy schedules and enjoy community with others who are experiencing the challenges that often come with single parent living.

Guest speakers who will address various needs of Single Moms will be featured at some of our monthly brunches. Other months we will have what we call our "Mom to Mom" brunches, giving us a chance to engage in small group discussion and get to know each other better.

We invite you to join us at the next Single Mom Sunday Brunch. Please see dates below. If you are unable to attend our next brunch or are not in the Geneva, IL area, we will include speaker notes from the brunches where we host a special guest right here on Connecting FBCG Single Moms. Any other exciting and/or important information will be posted on this Web site too so you won't miss out!

Fall 2008 - Single Moms Brunches

* NOTE: If you're a Single Mom who found this site and you are in the Geneva, IL area, please know that all Single Moms are welcome to come to any of our monthly brunches. We know it can be hard to just "show up" but we encourage you to take the step because other Single Moms in your area want to meet you!
